The Unveiling of Hosea!

CHAPTER 1 & 2

We will use the metaphor of Hosea's marriage to Gomer, a woman who is unfaithful, to illustrate God's covenant relationship with Israel.

CHAPTER 3  

We will focus on Hosea's re-marriage to Gomer, symbolizing God's willing nest restore Israel Evan after their apostasy.

CHAPTER 4

We will shirt to a covenant lawsuit against Israel, detailing the specific sins and consequences of their covenant violations.

CHAPTER 5

We will see how God condemns Israel and Ephraim for their pride and idolatry, warning that they will be overthrown due to their iniquity, and even Judah will be brought down with them.

CHAPTER 6

We will learn about God's call for Israel to return to God,  acknowledging their sins and seeking forgiveness.

Unveiling Hosea Part II

CHAPTER 7

Emphasizes God's justice and His judgment outhouse who choose to disobey and reject him. We will highlight the consequences of sin and the importance for repentance.​

CHAPTER 8

We will focus on Israel's disobedience, including setting up kings without God's approval creating idols, and making alliances with other nations.​

CHAPTER 9

We will focus on the consequences unfaithfulness to god, including spiritual adultery and the abandonment of God's covenant.

CHAPTER 10

We will highlight how Israel, despite being blessed with prosperity, turned away from god, building altars and scared stones for other Gods.

CHAPTER 11

We will illustrate both God's initial acts of kindness in leading Israel out of Egypt and His later acts of judgement for their unfaithfulness, followed by a promise of restoration.​​

Chapter 12 
Centers on a divine indictment against Israel and Judah, concerning heir unfaithfulness and a calling them to repentance.

Chapter 13:
Focuses on the pending judgement upon Israel due to their persistent idolatry and unfaithfulness to God, despite his past mercies and deliverance.
​
Chapter 14:
This emphasizes Gods steadfast love and willingness o forgive even after Israel's repeated sins and failures and constant relying on idols or other nations. It is about trusting God and God alone.
